I’m a Portland, OR-based Cartoonist (currently living in the LA area) who does freelance graphic design, publishing assistance and animation. I’ve self-published a few mini-comics called Guardrail, Kingdom, and Sweatpants Kid and edited/published humor anthologies Visions of the Aporkalypse and Humerus. I attended the Center for Cartoon Studies, receiving an M.F.A. in May 2011, and The University of Oregon before that (BA Art). My work has also appeared in INTENSE: Tales from the PNCA Graphic Novel Intensive, Automatons in Love, and The Dingo Kid.
The lovely and talented Center for Cartoon Studies Class of 2011, at graduation.
That’s me on the left, talking to Art Spiegelman on graduation day. He was nice enough to sign my copy of Maus, and chat about comics for a couple minutes.
Here I am after visiting The Simpsons, my favorite TV show since I was seven. That’s producer and cartoonist Tom Gammill on the right, holding packets of comics I gave him and Matt Groening. Tom was the one who made it possible, thus I owe him a life debt.
I have a tumblr here.
